Heathen Guitar works (formally Deviant Guitars). HGW combines quality made pickups and premium production guitars in one place. Same owner, same great quality. Hand made in the United States by self taught Luthier Royce Braun. The ideal instrument couldn't be found, so it was built. Incorporating elegant and aggressive aesthetics and using only premium and personally tested components. Designed for the Rock and Metal players, our instruments are engineered with only hand chosen materials you can count on. Allowing you the freedom to play with confidence instead of worrying about your gear.

Heathen guitars only uses high quality components that have been proven to withstand the test of time and offer ultra low maintenance. Combined with Stainless steel frets and carbon fiber neck re-enforcement rods. there is no compromise to quality and playability.
Premium hard woods
Only ethically sourced and properly dried. All of our guitars are made from the best woods we can find. Royce has an eye for pairing complimenting woods and finding the best finish to highlight the beautiful wood grains and design. All premium hard woods are hand picked by Royce himself.
